The Evergreen Workshop Inc.
its been said many times before that if you love what you do, you'll never work a day in your life. with that in mind, we decided to quit work and do something we love.
so here we are, building, creating, living.
and the best part of this . . . we get to experience all of this by supplying our customers, our community, with quality handmade products that we take great care and pride in building.
we love the idea of having things that last, and we strive to not only build items that do just that but build relationships and a reputation with our clients that is rock solid as well.
carpenter / co-founder
i was introduced to carpentry through watching my dad build everything from homes to china cabinets. i guess you could say i take after him. i started my carpentry career in 2015 when i enrolled into trade school. i began working on new builds and remodeling homes in slave lake, ab. poured more concrete than i like to remember. i've done everything from ground work for footings to roofing; not to mention everything in between. i really found a love for finishing carpentry which leads me to the evergreen workshop. I like pushing my skills to be better with every project. trying new joinery and working with quality products. i can't wait to see what we come up with. talk to you soon
craftsman / co-founder
i was very fortunate growing up, i had many talented people to learn from. whether it was pulling wrenches on everything from lawn mowers to farm equipment, to swinging a hammer to repair fences or major renovation/remodeling, to planting seeds and tending to a garden to harvest, I've never been afraid to get my hands dirty. utilizing my skill set to do things for myself and others has always been a point of pride for me. being able to combine my experience with that of my fiancé, crystal, we saw an opportunity to start our business and offer our skills for hire to the public.
marketing & creative director
a born & raised fort mcmurrite with 15+ years experience in graphic/interior design & marketing. Also the sister of the craftsman and a woodworking enthusiast. although skills are not obtained through a professional carpentry trade, i do like to take on my own diy projects for the home and learn the skills to accomplish the desired results.
